(UN)MÖGLICH!
Künstler als Architekten

During the work at Surface this poster and
magazine was created for the 10th anni-
versary special exhibition (UN)MÖGLICH!
at the Museum Marta Herford.

Jungstubb

After seeing the typical not good-looking
price list of our kiosk at university, I decided
to create a new one using its prices and
offers. Often students don’t have much money.
Therefore this poster has to give a quick
overview of what you are able to pay and not
what you want to buy.

You’re at the Party

What was the motive for the composition
4’33” by John Cage? Didn’t he habituate
to lyrics? This book tries to give an answer
by asking more questions and unsilencing
40 songs of his life.

M.Y.H.H.I.O.Y.T. LIFE

Based on the book “Walden” by Henry David
Thoreau the project “M.Y.H.H.I.O.Y.T. LIFE”
developed. The book includes different views
of life in the form of 13 essays and my one-
day experiment in the forest.

Imprint Paradox
or The Paradox of
Pierre Marteau

After discovering the hidden Self-Foreign-
Reference-Paradox which can be found in
every imprint, it was about time to find a
solution for this contradiction.
The imprints of the productive, however
fictitious publisher Pierre Marteau were
perfect to illustrate the Paradox visually.

Endless Biro

A biro consists of a mine filled with ink. This
volume is mathematically limited. However,
I often feel that a biro could persist forever.
The visualization in the book is the portrayal
of this feeling: a small mine which fills itself
again and again and thus seems endless.

Gravura

This linocut originated during my exchange
semester in Lisbon. All steps of working
with linoleum were recorded and placed in
a CD cover.
